I think this poem by Langston Hughes can kind of relate to the world we are living in today.

Some of the best I've read so far:
Their Eyes Were Watching God (Zora Neale Hurston)
Color Purple (Alice Walker)
Colonize This! (Christina Tzintzun)
Kaffir Boy (Mark Mathabane)

I was bored earlier and was just reading poems online. Some of my faves of the day were Oppression and I too, sing America by Langston Hughes. My forever favorite verse, however, is Pac's And Tomorrow. He's amazing.

I'll start it up and say welcome. I'm the founder of this community. I made it because I'm a big reader of Langston Hughes and anything Tupac and no one ever listens to what I have to say. All of my friends are white and just don't understand.
